The Washington State University football team has added Upland High School (Upland, Calif.) quarterback Tyler Hilinski to its list of class of 2015 commitments.

As reported by Yahoo's Rivals.com Hilinski has committed to WSU, filling a hole that was left for many Cougar fans when local QB Brett Rypien chose Boise State over a stay in Pullman. According to Rivals, Hilinski is a four-star recruit and the No. 14 pro-style quarterback in the class of '15--Rypien was rated No. 7 by Rivals--and is the 39th overall prospect out of California in his draft class.

Hilinski started all 13 games for the Highlanders as a junior in the 2013 season, leading Upland to a 9-4 record going 4-1 in Baseline League play. The 6-foot-3, 187-pound signal caller threw for 3,053 yards, completed 68 percent of his passes, and completed a 34-8 touchdown to interception clip according to Maxpreps.com. He has also ran the ball 105 times for 297 yards rushing and 4 TDs.
