Car Accident On Barker And Trent Sends Two People To Hospital

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Just before noon authorities responded to a two car collision just East of Barker Road near Trent. Two people were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The collisions occurred when a silver Pontiac tried to make an illegal u-turn and was t-boned by an oncoming Chevrolet HHR. The driver of the Pontiac and a passenger in the Chevy were the ones transported to the hospital. The road was closed for a short time but was reopened shortly.

The Great Falls Tribune reports 51-year-old Stacy Micheletti was shot when he brandished a weapon during a confrontation in the city's east side Monday morning. No officers were injured, and investigators have not said what kind of weapon Micheletti brandished....
