SPOKANE, Wash. - It was an emotional evening Wednesday night as hundreds of people filled Manito Park to remember Gracie with a candlelight vigil. Friends, family, teammates, coaches, and even people who never knew Gracie, but still wanted to show their support showed up.>>
(KHQ) - The community is coming together to support the family of Gracie Snider, a ten year old girl killed in a vehicle accident Saturday afternoon near Ritzville. The crash happened on I-90 when the car Gracie was traveling in hit the back of a semi-truck.
Another 10-year-old girl, Ayla James, was in the car at the time of the crash and was taken to a local hospital; she is currently in the ICU.

Ayla and Gracie were friend who played on the same Spokane soccer team. A memorial candlelight vigil is being organized by the team the girls played on, Spokane Foxes Soccer Club, in honor of Gracie in an effort to raise funds to cover the funeral expenses. All are welcome to attend the vigil which will be on May 7th at 7:30pm in Manito Park. Gracie's jersey number was "7."

Anyone who would like to offer help or show support, you are welcome to message the Spokane Foxes Facebook Page here: https://www.facebook.com/SpokaneFoxesFC.

Coffee is life: Washington woman's hands-free drinking tip goes viral

VANCOUVER, Wash. - With Washington's new distracted driving law in effect, holding a phone while behind the wheel could cost you. In addition to the cell phone crackdown, the law makes eating, drinking or other activities that could potentially take your hands off the wheel secondary offenses. That means if you run a stop sign while drinking a cup of coffee and get pulled over for running the stop sign, you could get a $99 fine for drinking that coffee.
