Whitworth Unveils New Basketball Court at Fieldhouse

SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Whitworth basketball teams will have a nice new court to play on at their Fieldhouse this season and SWX's own Sam Adams was fortunate enough to christen the hardwood by playing a game of horse with the Pirates' mens team head coach, Matt Logie.

    A slow start doomed the Pirates in a 43-23 loss to George Fox last Saturday in the Pine Bowl.  The Bruins took a 20-0 lead into halftime and withstood Whitworth's efforts in the second half to earn their first win over the Bucs in four tries.
