Las Vegas doctor will help girl attacked by pit bull

UPDATE: JACKSON, Miss. - A Las Vegas doctor deeply touched by the story of the little girl who was asked to leave KFC because of the scars on her face, has decided to pay it forward. Victoria Wilcher was the victim of a pit bull attack that left her with multiple scars all over her face and only one eye. 

Dr. Frank Stile flew all the way to Jackson, Mississippi to meet with Victoria Wilcher and her parents and let them know he would do all he could to help Victoria heal. He has decided to offer all of his services for free.

Support and contributions from people all over the country have also poured in after Dr. Stile placed Victoria's photo and story on his foundations website, FranklStileFoundation.com. Dr. Stile is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, who trained at UMC and has expertise minimizing scars on professional fighters. A Renowned prosthetician, Raymond Peter from Naples, Florida, is also helping by donating a prosthetic eye for Victoria.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - KFC Corp. says it's investigating allegations that an employee in Jackson, Mississippi, asked a 3-year-old to leave a restaurant because her facial injuries frightened other patrons. A spokesman says KFC is also giving $30,000 toward her medical bills.

The allegation was made Thursday on "Victoria's Victories," a Facebook page following Victoria Wilcher's recovery from a pit bull attack in April. Photos show her facial scars and cartoon-decorated eye patch.

KFC posted an apology on the page, requesting details.

Spokesman Rick Maynard tells The Associated Press that the donation will be made regardless of what the investigation finds. He says KFC won't tolerate hurtful or disrespectful actions to guests.

The page's administrator wrote Sunday that "Victoria's Victories" had gone from 250 people praying for Victoria to thousands.

The page had more than 32,000 "likes" on Sunday.
