Former Washington State Cougar star and current Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson might be headed to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of the deal for All-Star power forward Kevin Love, according to sources close to the situation.

ESPN.com is reporting that Golden State is now willing to include Thompson in a deal for the highly sought after Love. Thompson's father Mychal, who is a radio analyst for the Los Angeles Lakers, told ESPN LA 710 AM that the Warriors and Wolves are discussing a deal that would include Minnesota's Kevin Martin along with Love.

It is reported that one scenario would be the Wolves acquiring Thompson and David Lee for Love, Martin, J.J. Barea and Minnesota's 13th pick by ESPN's Chris Broussard.
