Saturday, June 21st is a day you won't want to miss as we celebrate Spokane's World Fair with "Remembering Expo '74." It's a super celebration featuring:

· FREE guided history tours departing from the Clocktower, 10am-2pm

· $.74 hot dogs at the Fountain Café and Pavilion Restaurant

· Expo Memories with staff & guests

· A look ahead with the Riverfront Park Master Plan team

· Famed Garbage Goat celebrates its 40th birthday

· KDRK Country in the Park FREE Listener Appreciation Concert, 2 - 6 p.m.

· And at 8 p.m. the Tops in Blue United States Air Force Touring Ensemble FREE concert at the Lilac Bowl

About Riverfront Park

The City of Spokane's Riverfront Park is considered one of the most scenic urban parks in the nation. With over 100 acres to explore, much of it located on an island, you are sure to discover the magnificent Spokane Falls and River, the Expo '74 Pavilion, 1902 Clocktower, 1909 Looff Carrousel, the Sculpture Walk which includes the Riverfront Rotary Interactive Fountain, giant Red Wagon, garbage eating goat, Vietnam Memorial, Centennial Trail bike path, Havermale Point and inviting meadows and conservation areas.     SPOKANE, Wash. - One man is in critical condition after a fight in downtown Spokane early Sunday morning, according to Spokane Police. Patrol officers found the man unresponsive at 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Sprague and Stevens. Witnesses told police the injured man had walked out in front of a taxi and started a fight.>>

River's went into cardiac arrest at a New York doctor's office while she underwent a "minor throat surgery" on Thursday. Melissa Rivers said in a statement Sunday that "we are keeping our fingers crossed." She's thanking people for expressing their support.

Snohomish County prosecutors charged 52-year-old former nude dancer Carmela Panico with promoting prostitution and money laundering, alleging that she was the madam of drive-thru brothels throughout the county north of Seattle.>>
