PREVIOUS COVERAGE:

MOSES LAKE, Wash. - Alianna Valdez, of Moses Lake, WA, was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when she was just three years old and has never been able to walk. However, at the age of 13, that may about to change. Alianna is having surgery on June 26th at Seattle Children's Hospital and it's a procedure that will hopefully allow her to walk for the first time.

Alianna is terrified of having surgery as she did not have a good experience with the first surgery she had several years ago. Initially, she turned down this surgery, even though her parents wanted her to do it. When she heard though, that Russell Wilson frequently makes visits to the Seattle Children's Hospital, she built up the courage to go through with the surgery all for the chance to meet her favorite football player and maybe, just maybe, learn to walk for the first time.

MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. - The Airway Heights water crisis continues, with hundreds of families still forced to use bottled water instead of what's coming out of their taps. But on Tuesday the community is getting more answers about what's going on thanks to a public meeting held by Fairchild Air Force Base. More than anything folks were concerned about what the Air Force was doing about the contaminated water and the possible health effects it could have on them.
