Posted: Updated:
GLACIER NATIONAL PARK - Glacier National Park officials say they anticipate Going-to-the-Sun Road will open this weekend after the area received three feet of snow just two weeks ago.

Plow crews cleared snow and debris from the road from at least two dozen snow slides last week.

Currently, visitors can drive about 15 miles from the West Entrance to Avalanche, and 13 miles from the St. Mary Entrance to Jackson Glacier Overlook.

We'll keep you updated on the latest Going-to-the-Sun Road opening information.
