SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Firefighters rescued a family of seven from the Spokane River Monday afternoon after their raft flipped near the bowl and pitcher in Riverside State Park. 

Firefighters on scene told KHQ two grandparents were rafting the river with their 5 grandchildren when the raft overturned. However, everyone was wearing a life jacket and safely made it out of the river. 

No injuries were reported.
