KHQ.com - Earlier this month, many people were outraged at photos a Texas cheerleader posted on Facebook of her with dead big game animals. The pictures drew so much attention and outrage, that Facebook removed them. And earlier this week, that same outrage returned, however some people apparently didn't think through their blinding rage.

On July 6, a man who describes himself as an 'internet humorist', Jay Branscomb posted a photo of a man next to a "dead" triceratops, with the comment: "Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man.”

The problem is that man was Steven Spielberg, and the dinosaur he was posing with was the one used in Jurassic Park. Do you get the joke? Me too. However, some apparently did not.

The comments that came flooding in over the seemingly obvious satirical piece were interesting to say the least. Some people seemed genuinely upset, others understood the humor yet acted as if they didn't, and some didn't understand that the people who did understand didn't understand. Got that? Me neither. But the comments on the picture, over 7,000, real or not, were pretty funny.

"Steven Spielberg, I’m disappointed in you. I’m not watching any of your movies again ANIMAL KILLER."

"Disgraceful. No wonder dinosaurs became extinct. Sickos like this kill every last one of them as soon as they are discovered. He should be in prison."

"He should be killed instead. Beautiful creature innocently living millions of years ago then this monster comes along."

"What makes me laugh is the people who believed the people who believed the people...ahhh forget it, I haven't got all day, lmao"

It's hard to tell. Did people really think Steven Spielberg killed a dinosaur? Probably not. Were they playing along? Probably. Hopefully. Is this a perfect example of trolls trolling trolls who troll trolls? That would be my guess. Welcome to the internet.
