Do you know this person? Suspect still at large in Jitterz coffee stand robbery

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Coeur d’Alene Police Detectives and the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force are continuing to investigate the Robbery of The Jitterz coffee stand in the 2800 block of Government Way. The Robbery occurred early Friday (07/11/14) evening between 5:55pm and 6:00pm.

The suspect is described as a white male, early 20’s, 5’08”-5’09”, very skinny build, white T-shirt, blue jean shorts.

The suspect male entered the coffee stand through the entrance/exit door. Once inside the coffee stand the suspect male ordered the two female employees to the ground and stated “this is a robbery, I have a gun”. No weapon was displayed as the suspect male had a black shirt over his right hand and was pointing it toward the female employees. The suspect male attempted to open the cash register, but was unsuccessful. He then took an unknown amount of cash from the tip container.

A male witness pulled up to the coffee stand and saw what was going on, and attempted to confront the male suspect. The male witness attempted to detain the male suspect until police arrived, but the male suspect was able to get away. The male suspect was last seen running E/B on Anton Ave. from the coffee stand.

Several updated photos, and video surveillance of the suspect male have been released.

North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is offering a Reward for any information leading to the arrest of the male suspect.
