Umpqua Pro-Am Results

LIBERTY LAKE, WA – MeadowWood GC – 6,874 Yards, Par 72, $130,000 Purse

The sponsor team from Seaboard/Charlies Pride with PGA Professional Corey Prugh of Manito G&CC (Spokane, WA) and amateurs Steve Timmerman, Sean Boutz, Don Fenton and Pete Gilbert won the Umpqua Bank Pro-Am today at MeadowWood GC. They fired a two day total of 231 in the best 2 of 5 net competition to take the team trophies home.

Winning the daily team competition today was the sponsor team from Dejarnet with PGA Professional Casey McCoy of Newaukum Valley GC (Chehalis, WA) and amateurs Ric Larsen, Mike Bartell, Doug Titus and Steve Hauke after firing a team score of 114.

PGA Professional Jason Pitt of Chewelah G&CC (Chewelah, WA) won the low professional honors today after firing a 7-under par 65. He won by one stroke over Corey Prugh of Manito G&CC, Brent Walsh of Coeur d’Alene GC (Coeur d’Alene, ID), Brad Faller of The Reserve Vineyards GC (Aloha, OR) and Darren Black of Rainier G&CC (Seattle, WA).

The Rosauers Open Invitational will start tomorrow with tee times ranging from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm off # 1 and # 10 tees. The Rosauers Open Invitational is a 54 hole individual competition. Results will be emailed nightly around 8:00 pm. Tee times and results will also be posted nightly at www.pnwpga.com.

Proceeds from the Rosauers Open Invitational will benefit the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, Spokane’s safe haven for children at risk of abuse and neglect. The Nursery also provides counseling, education and referrals for parents of young children. The 2013 event raised $125,000 for the charity with over $2,375,000.00 raised through the years.

They fired a 31-under par 113 in the best 2 of 5 net competition. The sponsor team from King/Kokanee with PGA Professional Ronnie Espedal of Ocean Shores GC (Ocean Shores, WA) with amateurs Chad O’Donnell, Patrick McLaughlin, Jeff Hansen and Peter Rusnak were second two strokes behind.

PGA Professional Corey Prugh of Manito G&CC won the professional daily competition today after firing a course record round of 61, 11-under par. PGA Professional Brad Hansen of Stoneridge GC (Blanchard, ID) finished second with a 6-under par 66.

Prugh won the Rosauers Open Invitational three times in the past. He captured the win in 2009, 2011 and 2013. He currently holds the tournament record of 192 at Indian Canyon GC that he set back in 2009.

The Rosauers Open Invitational will continue with the Umpqua Bank Pro-Am tomorrow.
