PASCO, WA- Pasco's Terror Behind the Screen is known for its scaring, but not everyone knows the technical side.
The technology changes every year for haunted houses and the crew is getting a head start on setting up for the season. Terror Behind the Screen has even more terrifying props. This year they will use computer generated imagery, or CGI's. University Studios even supplied them with props for this year. The crew is starting early to make sure everything works by Halloween.
"We like to get an early start just for the fact that with the technology of the haunt industry, we have to stay on top of that. As it progresses we have to progress and adapt to it," said designer and builder Jim Florea.
Terror Behind the Screen is known for using movies like Silent Hill and other horror films as themes. The crew even attends haunting conventions in St. Louis to get more scare ideas. They also have 24 surveillance cameras and their own security team to ensure safety.
This October will mark the haunted house's third year.
