Thank you to all who gave to victims of Carlton Complex Fire!

Posted: Updated:
KHQ.COM - We were completely overwhelmed at how this community came together yesterday for the Q6 Cares, Inland NW Shares drive yesterday to support the victims of the Carlton Complex Fire who lost their homes. All day Monday from 5am - 6:30pm we were inundated by a constant flow of people wanting to make a difference.

American West Bank was in our Connect Center all day, answering hundreds of phone calls from those who wanted to give financial support. The American Red Cross and the Salvation Army worked tirelessly in the heat helping people empty their cars of donated goods and loading those donations into trucks.

We also want to give a big shout out to DeVries Moving and Storage, the Mayor of Airway Heights, SCRAPS and Second Harvest Food Bank for generously donating their trucks for pick up and transportation! Without the trucks we would not have been able to get all the donations to the Pateros community and surrounding areas.

85,000 pounds of donations were received and we will announce the grand total of monetary donations tonight at 5pm on KHQ Local News.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Location, location, location.  You may have seen a post making its way around social media of a house listing in Seattle for nearly $450,000. That sounds about right for the area, right? Well this house is a bit of a fixer upper. The kind with lots of potential if you invest the time and money.  Currently, however, it is shown on the real estate site Redfin in less than perfect condition.
