Triple homicide investigation: 3 bodies found on farm identified

UPDATE: FINLEY, Wash. (AP) - Sheriff's officials say they have identified the three people found dead on a farm in south-central Washington state.

The Tri-City Herald reports (http://is.gd/e2Ysgs ) that 23-year-old David Perez Saucedo and 19-year-old Victoria Torres were found Saturday near a cornfield in Benton County, along with a 23-year-old woman whose name is being withheld pending the notification of her family. Their hometowns have not been released.

The case is being investigated as a triple homicide.

Authorities say a farmworker found two of the bodies about 6 a.m. Saturday, and Benton County sheriff's deputies arrived soon afterward and found the third body.

Autopies are set for Monday.

FINLEY, Wash. (AP) - The Benton County Sheriff's Office says three bodies were found Saturday morning on a farm south of Finley.

The sheriff's office says the deaths are being investigated as a triple homicide.

The Tri-City Herald reports that authorities say a farm worker found two people dead near a cornfield about 6 a.m.

Benton County Sheriff's Lt. Chuck Jones says deputies arrived soon after and found a third body. Jones says that all were on farmland off Nine Canyon Road, southeast of the intersection with Coffin Road.

Benton County Coroner John Hansens says the names of the victims were not being released because family has yet to be notified.

Hansens says an autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.

Police say Officers Kelsey Scott and Caleb Martin fired their weapons, striking 53-year-old Daniel Craven, who later died from his injuries at the hospital. Officer Kelsey Scott was hired by the Spokane Police Department in May of 2014.
