MEAD, Wash. -

Four buildings, including one home, were destroyed in a fire near Mead Tuesday afternoon. 

Firefighters on scene told KHQ the fire had three separate starts and eventually burned the four buildings and ten acres before they got it under control. As of 8:30pm, the fire was 100% contained. 

No injuries were reported. 

At this time the cause is unknown, however a severe thunderstorm moved through the area shortly before the fire broke out.

    LOS ANGELES (AP) - A homeless man was charged Friday with murder in a random attack on a California father who was stabbed in the neck as his 5-year-old daughter sat in his lap in a crowded beachside steakhouse. Jamal Jackson, 49, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Anthony Mele. He was being held in Ventura County jail on a $1.5 million bail.
