Kahlotus, WA - The passing storm Tuesday evening did not come and go without leaving its mark.

One small town that got hit was the town of Kahlotus.

Kahlotus Mayor, Patti Hamilton said the storm destroyed the city park.

Mayor Hamilton said nearly a dozen trees are down,  including one on a house and another on a city well house.

She also said downed power lines, knocked out power to parts of the city.

"We've had a lot of storms this summer especially that have kind of snapped trees down and last year well we had a couple that fell over on the city shop so we're kind of used to that because of the winds we get but it just absolutely like, dominoes everything just laid over," Hamilton said.

She added this kind of damage is a big financial blow to their small city.
