SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane Indians had just enough hits in the bag to pull out a 1-0 win over the Tri-City Dust Devils at Avista Stadium in SWX's first-ever high definition broadcast on Saturday night.

Indians (35-26) starting pitcher Richelson Pena (5-3, 2.89 ERA) picked up the win by tossing six scoreless innings and only allowing five hits while striking out five Dust Devils (25-36). Tri-City's Helmis Rodriguez (3-7, 2.16 ERA) also offered up a gem on the mound going six innings and allowing the only run of the game as he struck out three Spokane batters.

Jose Trevino sparked Spokane in the sixth with double and then stole third to put him only 90 feet away from breaking the deadlock. Three batters late Josh Morgan smacked a single down the left-field line to plate Trevino with two outs and score the games sole run.

Erik Swanson and Adam Parks combined to strike out five Tri-City hitters in three innings of shutout relief for Pena to secure the win for Spokane.

The Indians and Dust Devils return to Avista Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 17, for a 3:30 p.m. PT matinee.
