Sgt. Hickman to Retire

The Great Falls Police Department says goodbye to one of their longest serving officers. As of tomorrow, Sgt. Chris Hickman will be retiring effective tomorrow. Sgt. Hickman has been an officer for thirty-one years with the GFPD.  

Hickman served in many roles as a sworn officer. His most notable work came in the narcotics division starting in 2004 when he was assigned to the Drug Task Force and became a superior drug investigator according to GFPD. Hickman while the supervisor of the unit received the Montana Narcotics Officers Association "Officer of the Year in 2013.

Hickman accepted a position as a Social Worker with the Department of Family Services that starts next week.
