Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Havre

HAVRE - A fatal motorcycle accident early Sunday morning in Hill County has left one man dead.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the accident took place at 1:36am. The accident occurred while the rider was traveling east on 1st Street North in Havre.  

MHP says that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, and that a thirty-nine year old male from Cut Bank was dead at the scene.

Authorities say that speed was not a factor, but it is unknown at this time if alcohol was. The rider was not wearing helmet when the accident took place.

The incident is still under investigation, we will have more information as soon as it develops.
