IS THIS REAL? Video shows strange road rage in Russia

KHQ.com - If you've ever been sucked into the time-wasting vortex that is YouTube, then you've probably seen tons of road rage incidents. It happens to me all of the time. You go on YouTube to look for the latest video you saw on Ellen of a 4-year-old uncomfortably singing the new Nicki Minaj song while their parents cheer her on stage left, and... Boom! Two hours later you're watching road rage videos from the other side of the world. And there are plenty of them. Most for whatever reason seem to originate out of Russia and it seems like all cars in Russia come equipped with a dashboard camera.

Thankfully one of those cameras was rolling when a man became upset with a van. On the video you see him get out to confront the driver, but he certainly wasn't expecting the response he got. What happened next was an altercation that greatly entertained the folks in the car with the camera and over three million people on YouTube too. Four costumed characters hopped out of the van, and attacked the frustrated driver. Spongebob was there. Knockoff's of Mickey Mouse and I think the Squirrel from Ice Age were there. And some unidentified elephant (?), taking on the proverbial role of Jimmy Carter from Point Break (No one wants to be Jimmy Carter when you have Reagan, LBJ, and Nixon, but someone has to when the president mask store only has four choices). to round out this nutty ex-cartoon star street gang.

It appears the man on the receiving end was OK physically, despite the beat down he received. He gets up from the attack and it appears his anger morphed into a state of mass confusion. After watching the video, just like the man, you're left wondering, "Did that really just happen?"

STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. - It's been nearly two years since anyone has seen or heard from Paul Brazeau. He was last seen at his son's wedding. His brokenhearted family reached out to KHQ's Hayley Guenthner with a letter asking for his case to be featured in our Q6 Cold Case series. The day Paul vanished started out so wonderful. "It was a happy day," said Paul's aunt Georgine Glatt.
