KHQ.COM - Cancer doesn't discriminate. Everyone seems to know at least one person who has lost the battle to the horrible disease but most of us can name a handful of victims. The statistics are scary: one in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. It can be hard to be optimistic with odds like that, but when cancer knocks at your door, the only option is to fight.

In honor of  all of your loved ones who have lost the fight, we have put together this slideshow to remember them.

    PARKLAND, Wash. (AP) - An 18-month-old girl has died after she was struck by a truck in the parking lot of a church in Parkland. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department says the girl was taken to a hospital late Tuesday where she died of her injuries. The department says a 35-year-old female driver had been parked in front of the Lamb of God Christian Community Church Tuesday night. After talking to a relative, the woman pulled her truck
