Spokane Police make arrest in stabbing

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Police Department announced on Thursday that they have arrested a man they believe stabbed another man in a Wendy's parking lot.

On September 3, Spokane Police were called to a report of fight in the Wendy's parking on on North Division. When officers arrived they found one person with multiple stab wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but doctors were able to save him. 

Major Crimes Detectives interviewed witnesses and developed probably cause to arrested 21-year-old Joshua Burnette. Officer Teresa Fuller told KHQ Burnette was located by officers on Wednesday and taken into custody on a 1st Degree Assault charge.

    Authorities say a Florida man set a woman on fire, leaving her in critical condition.    A Fort Myers police news release says officers arrested 39-year-old Terry Palmer on Tuesday and charged him with arson in the first degree and arson causing great bodily harm.    The victim's daughter told investigators Palmer and the woman had argued. Police say Palmer left and returned with flammable liquid to try to set the woman's house ablaze.
