Did you know that every state has a “most unique job?” A job that is more common in its state than it is in the country. A company that tracks job trends teamed up with Mental Floss, a company that organizes and tracks fun facts about states compiled a list of different states and their unique jobs as well as how many people have that job per capital. From actors in California to tour guides in Hawaii, . Here is a list of some of the most unique jobs in the country:

Hawaii – Tour Guide

New York – Fashion Designer

Kansas – Referee Capital of America

Idaho – Forest and Conservation Technicians

Washington – Aircraft Structure Assembler

Alabama – Tire Builder

Nevada – Gaming Supervisor

Minnesota – Slaughters and Meat Packers
