Probably not a good idea to text this to your probation officer...

ALBANY, GA. - A note to anyone out on probation: don't text your probation officer asking for marijuana. An Albany, Georgia man learned that the hard way this week.

According to WALB, Alvin Cross Jr. plead guilty on Monday to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to one year in prison. The judge added on another year to his sentence for violating his probation. Cross may have been able to save himself those two years had he not sent his probation officer a text asking, "You have some weed?"

Of course the probation officer notified the local police, who then raided his home and found the cocaine.

And even though marijuana is legal in Washington, it is still ill-advised to text your probation officer and ask if they have any. Just a heads up.

Spokane ranked almost dead last coming in at number 79 (there were only 80 cities on the list).
