KELLOGG, Idaho - A juvenile has been arrested in Shoshone County based on threats that were made at Kellogg High School.

The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office said the juvenile was arrested on Friday in connection to the threats that were made at the school. The Sheriff's Office would not elaborate specifically what kind of threats were made, but the juvenile is being held at the detention center in Kootenai County.

Deputies also said on Thursday night they found a weapon commonly known as a "shank" at the school. Deputies said a teacher found a piece of sheet metal that had been sharpened at one end in the school's shop class. The shank was found a day or two after the threats were made, and deputies said the weapon cannot be tied to the suspect.
