SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - On Saturday November 15, 2014, deputies in Spokane Valley responded to three robberies that happened within about two hours of each other. Right now detectives are working to establish if the robberies are connected, but on Wednesday they released surveillance video from two of the robberies, showing a similar looking suspect in both.

Detectives are hoping you can look at these photos and identify the suspect or suspects. If you can, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 if your information leads to an arrest.

The first robbery happened at Walgreens near Sprague and Sullivan at 4:41 p.m. Employees told deputies a man walked up to the pharmacy counter, said he was armed and demanded oxycodone and suboxone. The robber received the drugs and fled the store. He was described by witnesses as being 20-25 years old, white, 6'0" with average build. He was wearing blue jeans, a black coat, gloves, and a black knit hat.

The second robbery happened nearly two hours later at Lucky Nails Salon near Sprague and McDonald. Witnesses said a man entered the salon yelling for employees to give him money. He grabbed cash from the register and then ran from the store.

He was white, 5'6", and was wearing all black clothing, gloves, and a ski mask covering his face. No weapon was displayed. Deputies arrived with a K9 to track the suspect, but they never found him.

20 minutes later, the third robbery took place inside the Albertsons pharmacy near 32nd and Pines was robbed. The suspect jumped over the counter and grabbed bottles of oxybutynin. Witnesses said he was holding a knife as he also demanded oxycodone and morphine. The suspect then ran from the store.

Witnesses said the robber was either white or hispanic, 5'10" to 6'0", and about 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored coat, blue jeans, long dark curly hair, a beanie type cap, and his face was partially covered. A K9 track of the suspect was unsuccessful.

Spokane County Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the robberies and are unsure if they are related.

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest is offering a cash reward for anyone providing information leading to an arrest. If you know anything, you're asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS, or you can submit your tip to www.crimestoppersinlandnorthwest.org. You can remain anonymous.

The cash reward is being donated by RxPatrol, a collaborative effort between industry, pharmacists and law enforcement to collect, collate, analyze and disseminate information on pharmacy theft. Further information is available to authorized personnel at http://www.RxPATROL.org.
