Want to see a tarantula molting?

AHHHHHHHH!!!!! (PHOTO/VIDEO: Tarantupedia™) AHHHHHHHH!!!!! (PHOTO/VIDEO: Tarantupedia™)
KHQ.com - As if spiders weren't scary enough, the folks at Tarantupedia just had to go ahead and shoot a time lapse of a tarantula shedding its exoskeleton, which apparently resembles something out of a horror movie and will most certainly haunt my dreams for nights to come.

First, the spider's exoskeleton ruptures at the abdomen and head, creating a hole. Buzz McCallister's favorite pet then spends the next few hours kicking the exoskeleton off. It's a process that takes about ten hours, but Tarantupedia went ahead and sped up the video so you can watch it happen in about five or six minutes. If you are in to that sort of thing and are looking to have nightmares. (I don't like spiders in case you haven't caught on. I do love the movie Home Alone however, in case you missed that reference earlier.)
