SPOKANE, Wash. -

One Spokane waitress is headed all the way to the bank after earning a very generous tip from a customer: $1,000.

22-year-old Alexx Baziotis said she hardly knew how to react, but is blessed to have received the money.

Baziotis has been waiting tables at The Boiler Room in Spokane for one year. So, she wasn't too worried when she found out she'd be serving for a 16-person group. But 19 pizzas, 32 wings, and a lot of beer turned out to be a tall order.

"They were like, 'Yeah we'll just take one of everything,' and I was like 'OK no big deal let me just pick out one of everything,'" said Baziotis.

Two hours later the group was ready for the bill, but Alexx wasn't ready for what happened next.

"He was like 'Alright well here you go' you know and passed me the check receipt and I was like 'There's no missing decimal point or anything like that? Ok this is it?' And yeah, sure enough it was," said Baziotis.

Alexx said she was humbled and hardly knew how to thank the customer.

"It's like what do you say to show him well thank you like I don't know just thank you," said Baziotis.

Alexx says she plans to use the money to buy Christmas presents for her family.
