KHQ.com - Don't try this at home.

YouTube user Joerg Sprave loves to invent and showcase weird weaponry online. Whether it's something called a chainsaw crossbow or a pump action shotgun that shoots Oreo cookies, Sprave's "The Slingshot Channel" is filled with wild creations.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Sprave has recently unveiled his latest weapon, "The Santa Slayer."

It's basically a giant slingshot used to fire Christmas trees. Sprave cuts most of the branches off of a tree, leaving a few at the top to act as fletching. He steps back a ways, and then lets it fly with dangerous results. But Sprave loves it, as you can probably tell from his satisfied giggles. Watch the video above.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Six-year-old Denny Curran should be enjoying his last few days of summer before first grade. He should be teasing his brother, splashing in the pool, giving his parents a hard time about vegetables. Instead, Denny is dead, the victim of a horrific, freak bicycle accident that could happen to your child too. "Denny was an extraordinary child," his father Keith Curran told KHQ.
