Want to read more in 2015? Mark Zuckerberg does too

Mark Zuckerberg has started a book club. Mark Zuckerberg has started a book club.
KHQ.com - Facebook co-founder and entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg is attacking his New Year's resolution in a big way, and he wants you to join him.

Zuckerberg wants to read more books in 2015, so he started a community page on Facebook called A Year of Books. On the page, a description of the book club (or Facebook club?) says, "We will read a new book every two weeks and discuss it here. Our books will emphasize learning about new cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies. Suggestions for new books to read are always welcome."

The first book selected is called The End of Power by Moises Naim. Anyone who wants to participate in the book club can read the selections and discuss them in comment threads on the Facebook page.

"I'm excited for my reading challenge. I've found reading books very intellectually fulfilling," said Zuckerberg in a post on his page. "Books allow you to fully explore a topic and immerse yourself in a deeper way than most media today. I'm looking forward to shifting more of my media diet towards reading books."
