Police storm Paris grocery where gunman holds 5 hostages

Posted: Updated:
On Friday there was a second terror attack in Paris, France and it was led to two hostage standoffs- one at a printing press and the other at a kosher market in Paris. Both are suspected of being connected to each other.

At the printing press French police say two brothers suspected in the Charlie Hebdo terror attack were holed up. Both those brothers are believed to be dead. It's not clear if the brothers were shot by police, or if they took their own lives.

The hostage-taker at the market is also believed to be dead. That man was heard saying he would kill the hostages at the market unless the two brothers were allowed to go free. The hostage-taker is also believed to have shot and killed a woman police officer in Paris on Thursday.

This is still a developing story, but French police believe there is still a woman outstanding. This woman is believed to have taken part in the murder of that French police officer.

The two brothers are suspected of gunning down 12 people at the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday. It is not believed at this time that the hostage-taker or the woman were part of that attack. However, they could still be related.

Wednesday's attack was the worst terror attack in France in more than 5 decades. One man is already in police custody, he turned himself in.

At this time it is not known whether there were any other deaths or injuries of civilians. Check back with KHQ.com for updated information as it comes into the newsroom.
