KHQ.com - Rapper Macklemore is still getting some mileage out of his 2012 track "Thrift Shop."

This week he showed up on Sesame Street with Oscar the Grouch and his other grouch friends to rap about recycled trash.

The spoof, where Macklemore is renamed Mucklemore, is a kid-friendly version of the smash hit song, and even if you are sick of the song by now, the Sesame Street version is still pretty fun.

With his appearance, Macklemore joins an all-star list of musicians who have appeared on the kids' show, including Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, Paul Simon and Cab Calloway. It comes just a couple of weeks after Macklemore made another splash on social media when he announced he was expecting a child with his fiancee in a YouTube video.

Watch the video above, it is gross and awesome.
