SPOKANE, Wash. - A group of young adults jumped into action Monday when they saw an eagle struggling on the side of a road.

20-year-old Bradley Warren, 19-year-old Payton Larson, 19-year-old Markee Jackson along with her mother Teresa, were driving on Golden Road near Little Spokane River when they saw the bird on the ground looking like it was having a seizure.

They gently wrapped the eagle up and calmed it down so they could take it to Mount Spokane Animal Hospital. From there, Fish and Wildlife picked it up and took it to the Awakening Eagle Sanctuary in Cusick, Wash.

There is no word yet on what actually happened to the bird, but hopefully its getting the help it needs.
