SPOKANE, Wash. -


UPDATE: Spokane Police say they arrested a suspect for the stabbing in downtown Spokane Wednesday afternoon.  They identified that suspect as 47-year-old Paul Sicurello. Spokane Police booked Sicurello into Spokane County Jail for 1st Degree Assault. They do not believe there are any more suspects. 


The victim is listed in stable condition as of Wednesday evening. Witnesses say they saw two men arguing, when one of the men began stabbing the other. 


PREVIOUS COVERAGE: One person was transported to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times in downtown Spokane Wednesday afternoon. 

Spokane Police officers and firefighters responded to the Collins Apartments at 2nd and Wall. 

Police told KHQ crews on scene the victim's injuries are "potentially life-threatening" and they do have a suspect in custody.

WSOC TV reports that Nakia Williams was last seen Sept. 7, 2017 after leaving her home on Wiegon Lane. Georgia law enforcement officials confirmed with WSOC Wednesday that she was seen in Emanuel County, Georgia. Nakia’s mother told WSOC that she was found that same day in Lyons, Georgia,
