STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. -

Stevens County Sheriffs deputies are still searching for a man involved in an armed robbery in Addy, Washington, over the weekend.

The incident happened Sunday morning when deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Old Schoolhouse Trading Post located in Northern Stevens County.

Deputies say two suspects wearing masks and armed with a shotgun stole an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving in a sedan. The sedan was later found abandoned in a wooded area about a mile north of the robbery. Deputies determined the car had been stolen, and evidence on the scene indicated that a second vehicle was used to allow the suspects to escape.

After an investigation with assistance from Washington State Patrol, Chewelah Police Department and Colville Police Department, 41-year-old James S. Lambert was arrested later that Sunday on first degree robbery charges. He was held on $100,000 bail.

On Sunday, the escape vehicle was found in the Colville area, along with the suspected weapon used an additional evidence.

The second suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Michael Ray Snyder. He has not been apprehended yet and a $100,000 arrest warrant has been issued for first degree robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm. Snyder also currently has felony arrest warrants from Snohomish County for first degree robbery and Island County for possession of stolen property.

Deputies believe Snyder may have altered his appearance by shaving his head and/or beard shortly after the robbery.

Snyder could possibly be armed and should be considered dangerous. If you see Snyder or know of his whereabouts, deputies say you should call 911 immediately. Anyone with addition information, please contact Stevens County Sheriff's Office at (509) 684-2555.
