    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating an apparent homicide at an apartment in the 500 block of S. Hatch. Detectives say a man in his 30s was found dead inside his apartment.>>
    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating an apparent homicide at an apartment in the 500 block of S. Hatch. Detectives say a man in his 30s was found dead inside his apartment.>>
SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office released the identity of the man found dead in a lower south hill apartment on Sunday. 


The Medical Examiner's Office says 33-year-old Damien L. Stewart was strangled to death. Stewart also had facial lacerations and "incised wounds with facial fractures." The manner of death was ruled as a homicide.


Police say information at this point is extremely limited and that anyone with information should call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

A suspect or suspects in the case are outstanding, however detectives are currently following up on leads.

    DENTON, Mont. - A large wolf-like animal was shot and killed May 16 by a rancher near Denton, Montana. It now has wildlife officials and the public wondering what it was, according to KFBB.     IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - A judge has retained jurisdiction in sentencing a former employee of a rehabilitation center in southeast Idaho convicted of sexually assaulting a patient. The Post Register reports 39-year-old Brandon Bowcut was ordered into a treatment program Wednesday with an underlying prison sentence of five to 15 years.  Bowcut was arrested in February after a 76-year-old woman reported the assault while she was recovering in the facility in Rexburg.
