Moultrie Colquitt County -

When a man called the Moultrie Colquitt County Humane Society last week and said he found a "Pit Bull/Dachshund" mix in his front yard, they had to laugh a little bit. But it turns out, the man was right.

The animals shelter is now trying to find a home for one-year-old Rami, who has become an internet sensation ever since the shelter posted his picture. Staffers say he's full of energy, but doesn't like walking on a leash. They also say he loves to run and doesn't listen very well, so he needs a family that will train him.

The shelter has of course been flooded with calls of people wanting to adopt the unique puppy, but they say due his popularity, they will be carefully screening potential owners to make sure he goes to a loving home, and not to someone who will be looking to exploit him due to his appearance.
