SPOKANE, Wash. - The pot belly pig found wandering the streets of Spokane on Valentine's Day is back with its family. On Saturday the pig was taken to the Spokane Regional Animal Protection Services office. The staff there named her "Ms. Valentine" in honor of the day she was found. Then on Thursday, SCRAPS contacted KHQ and we put the pig's picture all over our Facebook and Twitter pages. Around 3pm, the pig's family saw their missing pet, contacted SCRAPS and by 5pm Thursday "Ms. Valentine, who's real name is Lucy Loo, was back home!

This little piggy went to the market, this little piggy, THIS little piggy went to SCRAPS, and that's where she remains right now.

Animal Protection officers brought in a pot belly pig that was found running down a neighborhood street on Saturday... Valentine's Day. Someone saw the pig darting through traffic and trapped it in their yard, then called the Spokane Regional Animal Protection Service.

“She is a very well-trained pig,” said Nancy Hill, SCRAPS Regional Director.  “She walks on a leash and even appears to be house-trained.”  The staff at SCRAPS has nicknamed her Valentine.

SCRAPS is currently looking for the owner of this pretty porker.  She is tan with black spots and resembles a calico cat.  She was found in the area of Mallon and North Pittsburg.
