    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police continue to search for the man they are naming as a person of interest in the death of a woman who died from a gunshot wound to the stomach last week. Detectives believe associates may be hiding 28-year-old Cameron D. Keith, who has not been seen since police found Christen (Crissy) Nichole DeMars suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.>>

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A woman initially believed to be suffering from a drug overdose Tuesday morning had actually been shot in the stomach according to Spokane Police. Spokane Police Department Spokeswoman Monique Cotton said in a press release that officers were called to a house near E. Diamond and N. Regal in east Spokane at around 10:30 am. >>
SPOKANE, Wash. - 28-year-old Cameron Keith has officially been charged with the murder of Christen DeMars. 


Police arrived at a home on March 24th and found DeMars suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach. She was take to the hospital and later died. During their investigation, detectives zeroed in on Cameron Keith as their suspect, but couldn't find him. Keith was found a couple of weeks after the murder and was transferred to Benton County on an unrelated warrant. 


On Wednesday, court documents showed that Keith has officially been charged with 2nd degree murder. He is expected to be transferred back to Spokane County soon to face the charge.

(AP) - Florida authorities say a woman who was beaten and held captive for two days at gunpoint by her boyfriend escaped when she convinced him bring their dog to an animal hospital - and then slipped a note to a staff member. The Daytona Beach News-Journal quotes the Volusia County Sheriff's Office as saying 39-year-old Jeremy Floyd was arrested at DeLand Animal Hospital. He is being held without bond on domestic violence and other charges.
