Previous Coverage:

Washington State Patrol are on the scene of a semi collision and trailer rollover on southbound U.S. 395 near Lincoln Road in Spokane County. Authorities say an empty logging truck headed south on Highway 385 went off the road and crashed into a guard rail and reader board column.

The driver of the truck was ejected in the crash. He was airlifted by Medstar to Sacred Heart Medical Center. Emergency crews say he was conscious and able to speak to them when they arrived. At this time his condition is unknown.

Traffic is being diverted off of 395. Southbound highway lanes will be closed for the next few hours so the Department of Transportation can inspect the reader board sign involved in the crash.

The wreck remains under investigation.
