If you live in Washington state and have smartphone, it was probably buzzing Tuesday night at about 6. That's from an Amber alert, who authorities say was sparked by Kyle Arellano. He's accused of kidnapping 20-year-old Vivianna Cruz and her 3-year-old daughter. Wednesday, he's spoke out.

Kyle Arellano told KHQ in a jailhouse interview they planned the trip to Spokane months ago.

“To get away from all the trouble. To get away from everybody...start our own life over here. start a foundation.”

So, they went to his sister's home in Spokane Valley.

“They were going to help me, Vivianna, and the little girl. Help us find a job and help us do good.”

They saw the Amber Alert and were working things out when he says everything went bad. A family member took Vivianna and her daughter to the Sheriff's precinct. Arellano was arrested at the home.

“They said they wanted question me. They should just question me. I wouldn't run. I know I never did nothing bad.

And now?

“I’m trying to get out to my family and my father and brother. If she doesn’t want to be with me, I won’t force her anymore. We were doing just fine.”

In the interview, he also says he wanted to say he loved his family.
