POST FALLS, Idaho -

Two people were recovering Thursday night after a crash between two cars and a semi truck near Post Falls.

The accident blocked the eastbound side of the Spokane street exit on I-90 for more than two hours.  According to Idaho State Police, 51-year-old Jeffrey Hines and 57-year-old William Howe were transported to Kootenai Health after the crash. The hospital says Howe is in fair condition  and Hines has been discharged from the hospital. The driver of the semi truck is uninjured.

Troopers say they believe the crash may have happened as a result of road rage. ISP says they got a call about road rage on i-90 eastbound, and while police were on the phone with the caller, the two cars hit each other.

One man was nearby at work while all of it was happening. He says he rushed to help. According to that witness, fifteen men tried to push the car off of the crash victims, but were unable to roll it off. Fortunately he says troopers were there within minutes.

According to ISP, the crash is under investigation.
