SPOKANE, Wash. -

Washington State Patrol Troopers arrested a man suspected of robbing a gas station near Medical Lake Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers say they were advised of the robbery at a gas station just off of I-90 west of Spokane near milepost 270. Witnesses said the suspect, later identified as Quentin Sinn, took off in a silver Hyundai. Troopers quickly spotted a car matching the description heading eastbound on I-90 at a high rate of speed. Troopers got behind the car and the pursuit was on. The driver eventually exited and was involved in a collision at 3rd and Altamont. Troopers say Sinn then took off on foot, but they caught him about a block later.

The occupants of the vehicle Sinn crashed into were not injured. Sinn was taken to the hospital with minor cuts and abrasions.

Troopers are processing Sinn's car, which was a rental, for evidence.
