POST FALLS, Idaho -

Kurt Sattlerlee is a nurse at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital. He says he was driving home to Post Falls on September 26th when he says another driver started acting like a "bully"; driving erratically, speeding, and weaving in and out of traffic. He says he gestured to the man while they were both on the freeway.

"I did what I shouldn't have done and I waved at him. An unfriendly wave, to let him know how I felt about his driving," Satterlee said.

Satterlee says after that exchange, the driver started following him, leading to a high speed chase, described by a witness.

"He was violently chasing this person," she remembered. "It was scary to be there and watch it…they're still out there and who's to say they won't strike again."

That chase led to Satterlee's house. He says he got out of his car, and walked up to confront the man, who was still in his SUV.

"He put it in reverse and ran me right over. I thought 'Oh my God, my leg is broken,' and then he tries to hit me again and I roll right over."

He was right. His tibia was severely fractured, his ACL was torn, and his leg was injured in multiple places. Now, he says his paid time off and insurance is up, but he still can't return to work because of the extent of his injuries. That's a problem, since he supports a family of four.

"We rely on my income for basically everything. If we don't find this guy, I don't know what's going to happen to me," Sattlerlee says.

Satterlee and the witness say the suspect was a white man with a thin build. They think he's about 5' 8", in his mid 30's to early 40's, and has very short or shaved hair. Satterlee believes a blonde woman in her late 20s was in the passenger seat. They say the car is a silver SUV with black trim and Washington plates. They say it has a boxy build.
