WALLA WALLA, Wash. -

Three Walla Walla men were arrested Thursday after a cell phone recording showed their involvement in the beating of a homeless man and stealing two cases of beer from him. The robbery and assault took place earlier this week near the southwest corner of 3rd Ave. and Main Street.

Christian W. Scott, 22, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. by a patrol officer who had been investigating the harassment and assaults of transients who gather in the downtown area. The officer got a hold of the cell phone video earlier after a search was conducted on the phone by a Walla Wall Police detective. The recording shows Scott harassing and attempting to get the victim to fight while the victim was sitting down on a bench. The confrontation continues until the homeless man hands over a case of beer. Scott is seen handing the case of beer to 22-year-old Robert L. Deleon.

Moments later, the video shows 29-year-old Brandon W. Fisher attempt to take another case of beer from the man. The man moves the beer to keep Fisher from taking it. Scott comes back and assaults the man, still seated on the bench, takes the second case of beer, and the three men leave.

All three men have been taken into custody and are being held on probable cause of one count of First Degree Robbery. According to Walla Walla Police, all three men have been arrested several times by local law enforcement.

NOT in a microwave. For this reason a new prank-challenge going around on Facebook is resulting in some hilarious text conversations between mothers and their grown children.
