Spokane Police were on scene at a home in the 4900 block of N. Stevens in north Spokane for hours Wednesday. Officers say a domestic violence suspect was believed to be inside the home and during the standoff and would not come out.

Neighbors told KHQ's Hayley Guenthner that the woman who lives in the home with the suspect was strangled Tuesday night and they reported that scratches were visible on her neck.

Police blocked off roads near Wabash and Stevens and neighbors were told to stay inside for hours on Wednesday. Eventually police discovered the suspect, identified as 45-year-old Adrian Worley, was actually hiding under a neighbors porch the entire time. When they found him, officers said Worley simply asked, "Hey what's going on? What are you guys doing here."

Worley was taken to the Spokane County Jail.

NOT in a microwave. For this reason a new prank-challenge going around on Facebook is resulting in some hilarious text conversations between mothers and their grown children.
