Crooks smash into gas station, make off with $1,800 in lotto tickets

COLFAX, Wash. -

More than $1800 worth of lottery tickets were stolen from a gas station early Saturday morning. The suspects remain on the run.

Officers said the suspects smashed the front door at the Corner Chevron, grabbed the tickets and were out within 19 seconds.

Investigators said the suspects took off with about 500 tickets. They have cashed some of the winnings tickets at 12 different locations throughout Spokane.

Deputies say it was a domestic dispute and the 2nd time they had been called the home in the past 24 hours.
