SPOKANE, Wash. -

A 46-year-old man recently arrested for multiple counts of indecent exposure is back in jail for the same thing, just one day after he was released.

A Spokane County Sheriff's Office deputy arrested 46-year-old Mikhail G. Karpov on an additional charge of Indecent Exposure after detectives learned he reportedly exposed himself the day after he was released from jail on the previous charges. Detectives added a second additional charges after they spoke to a victim who reported Karpov exposed himself to her last October or November.

Once the warrant was issued for his arrest, a deputy learned Karpov had a court hearing for a traffic violation on Monday at the courthouse. When Karpov showed up, he was taken into custody.

One of the victims told detectives that on June 1, 2016, the day after Karpov was released from jail, she saw him standing outside her office window as he stared and her and masturbated.

The second victim said she watched a news story on June 1 and recognized Karpov as the man who approached her at a bus stop and propositioned her. She told detectives Karpov was in his car with his pants unbuttoned and he was masturbating.

Karpov was booked into the Spokane County Jail for the warrant which has a $50,000 bond.
